Coming Soon: Pathways is Becoming Clarvida
Death by suicide has risen by 30% between 2020 and 2022. Tragically, suicide is typically the end result of untreated depression. This three-part Pathways at Work on-demand series lays out the warning signs of depression and suicide.
Participants receive current best practices for responding to a colleague, friend, or loved one upon recognizing signs of serious depression or suicidality. This three-part series gives permission and ways to ask the very difficult "S" [suicide] question, persuade people to get help and know how to refer them to available help. Asking the "S" question and following the steps offered in this session has been proven to save lives.
The goal of this program is to help all levels of the staff feel not only confident but comfortable having conversations about suicide awareness and prevention in order to best care for their employees and safeguard their corporate culture. This course can be used as a postvention resource for organizations that have been affected by suicide.
If we consider suicide prevention alongside other lifesaving corporate training such as CPR, fire safety, or evacuation drills, it becomes obvious that the benefits to both the company and the individual outweigh the cost.
If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available. Call or text 988 988lifeline.org to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
This three-part on-demand series includes three, twenty five minute on-demand videos and one sixty-minute live small group session led by a licensed mental health expert. The videos can be easily uploaded into your organization's LMS system and customized to include a section that informs employees of your organization’s wellness benefits.
